Essential Qualification
M.E./M. Tech. in the area of Chemical Engg/Mineral Engg/Coal Petrology/ Coal Beneficiation/ Modeling & Simulation or equivalent. OR B.E./B.Tech. in the area of Chemical Engg/Mineral Engg./ Coal Petrology/ Coal Beneficiation/ Modeling & Simulation or equivalent with Advanced Diploma from AcSIR with distinction in the area of Chemical Engg/Mineral Engg./ Coal Petrology/ Coal Beneficiation/ Modeling & Simulation or equivalent. OR Ph.D. (Sci./Engg.) submitted in the area of Chemical Engg/ Mineral Engg/ Coal Petrology/ Coal Beneficiation/ Modeling & Simulation or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification
(i) 1st Class in M.E./M.Tech and B.E./B.Tech. (ii) Ph.D. awarded. (iii) GATE qualified.
Job Requirement
To undertake R&D work in the area of mineral processing:- hydro-metallurgy and high temperature pyro-metallurgy involving raw material preparation:- metal extraction and industrial waste treatment.
